Every now and then, an event takes place that makes me pause to reflect on the ever-expanding gifts I have been given. That person this day was Jill. She’s been a client for many years. Jill comes to the office for a reading to get some clarity into things happening in her life. She likes to visit two, or three times a year to gain insights into the kinds of obstacles that might be heading her way, as well as a little guidance into her own psychic gifts. She also asked questions about her husband who had several medical conditions and required a lot of care. Being his caregiver, and a conscientious person she wanted to make sure that she was doing the right things for him. Well, this reading was very different than the ones in the past. She sat down, we greeted each other and after the hello’s the first words out of my mouth were “your husband has a blood clot in his right groin”. She leaped out of the chair and said “book” me for next week, I am taking my husband to the hospital. Jill was out the door before I could respond. I never got to meet her husband, but I had talked to him on the phone a couple of times. I was aware he had a heart condition among other things. The doctors checked him over at the hospital, then did the test that verified he indeed has a blood clot in his right groin. They rushed him into surgery, and thank goodness he recovered. He had an additional five years of life as a result of her action, but more importantly, she needed that five years of time to prepare for her life without him. The outcome of this story could have been very different for two reasons, first I needed to trust what I was getting, and then she needed to trust what I said to take the actions that were necessary to save her husband’s life.
